Bimmer lore. These independent groups are organized around specific

ranging from driving events and web-based digests to publications
and news bulletins. |

The Maserati
Club
|

|
The Maserati Club provides the link between the
past, present and future of the Modena constructor. Reflecting this,
the association is led by personalities who have made a fundamental
contribution to the growth and promotion of Maserati in all eras,
starting from the President, Maria Teresa de Filippis, the first
woman F1 driver and today a proud supporter of the marque. The
Technical Committee is grounded in the experience of great
specialists, first of all Ermanno Cozza, who have lived through more
than 50 years of history of the production of Maserati cars of all
kinds, making a direct contribution to their creation. |

Mercedes Benz Club of
America
|
 |
|
Prior to 1952, only 34 new Mercedes-Benz automobiles
were registered in the United States, but enthusiasts were hard at
work to form a club. Dr. Milton J. Allen of Summit, New Jersey
petitioned Daimler-Benz in Stuttgart for permission to use the name
and trademark for this purpose in 1955. Concurrently, a group of
Chicago members of the British Mercedes-Benz club formed their own
organization. Both groups established clubs and were chartered in
1956. |
